The Famous Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton owner LVMH that usually make liquor and perfume is set to use its perfume production lines to start making hand sanitizer and giving them to customers for free to protect people against the coronavirus outbreak.


The French-based perfume maker LVMH, which produces scents for companies like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy & Christian Dior said in a press briefing on Sunday that it intends on producing hand sanitizer at its factories in France for distribution across 39 hospitals in the region. The company also said that the hand sanitizer gel will be delivered for free to French health authorities.

France has now seen 264 deaths and 9,134 infected from the coronavirus as the pandemic spreads.


"LVMH will continue this commitment for as long as necessary, in connection with the French health authorities," the company said.


As the deadliest coronavirus continues to spread globally and causing panic, people have been advised to maintain proper hygiene and using of mask strickly.
